Quick note from bed.

Happy New Year sweet friends! I hope you each had a wonderfully blessed Christmas and New Year. I miss blogging and visiting you all very much.
Christmas was nice and calm at our home. Thank you all for your Christmas cards! I was overwhelmed! I hope you all got mine! I had some from Singapore, Canada, Scotland, England, Serbia and many more places! It was exciting!
Holly is adjusting very well! I can’t wait to tell you all more about this precious girl! (She is now 2 lbs.) She has matured quite a bit in 3 weeks and is doing well with housebreaking so far. Of course, we are trying really hard to not give her a chance to have an accident. (When I say "we", I mean, my parents and sister! ha!)
I became very sick on Christmas night and I have been in the bed pretty much all day, everyday, since the 25th. It was terribly disappointing. I haven’t been able to take care of Holly like I had hoped and my family has stepped up to the plate beautifully.

Me in the bed and in the dark. Am I sight or what?! Ick!

I have so much to share with you all. I keep making notes of things I want to post. So, be ready for a couple of Christmas photos in a few days!
Ending this on a happy note. Here is Miss Holly Joy!

Dear Jesus~
Touch my special friend, Heather. Let her feel your presence and your strength. Give her strength for each new day. Revive her Lord so that she may be an instrument of your love to others. I thank you Lord that you have brought Heather into my life as she has been a blessing to me as well as to others. Give her a good and blessed day today.
Amen!

Heather dear,

I noticed you hadn't been blogging, and thought you must be doing poorly. Thought of you often and prayed you!

Holly is absolutely adorable!

I was starting to worry again! I'm sorry you are sick, ugh what a terrible way to end one year and begin the next! Praying for you always <3

Dear Father God:
Please give Heather a healing touch. She enjoys life so much. Give her the strength to be about the things that give her joy. I have missed hearing from her these past few weeks. She's such a ray of sunshine to me.
I ask these things be done out of your great mercy and love for Heather.
In the name of Jesus
AMEN
